INTERNATIONAL AWARENESS & INVOLVEMENT
Delta Sigma Theta continues to strengthen its international awareness and involvement by volunteering, donating, understanding, and appreciating those we serve and seek to serve. Whether we volunteer close to home or we’re thousands of miles away, we see how others live. In this way we’re helping to improve lives, not just in the moment, but for generations to come.
SCTAC GOES INTERNATIONAL
On September 19-23, members of our chapter along with the International Awareness and Involvement Committee facilitated an inaugural international group travel experience to Montego Bay, Jamaica. The purpose of the trip was to increase international awareness and involvement through participation in global exploration, complete service projects with four organizations to directly support an international community, and impact global engagement in the chapter by creating a bridge of opportunity for more Deltas to travel internationally.

World AIDS Day
World AIDS Day is globally recognized every year on December 1st. It is designed to focus attention on the devastating impact that HIV/AIDS has had on our community. SCTAC International Awareness and Involvement Committee continues to support the annual event with local and global partners to increase awareness.
